We built this website to promote their barrel racing events, collect entries, and communicate with their audience.
Although this site was created early in 2006, it was revised in January of 2010. We kept the fun, vibrant colors and layout that the client had originally requested but we tweaked the back-end so that it now runs on a “content management system” (CMS). Our CMS allows the client to make updates to their site without any XHTML knowledge what-so-ever. I also updated the XHTML and CSS code so that it is W3C valid, to ensure proper functioning across all browsers, portable devices, and search engines.
XtremeBarrelRacingPlus.com also enjoys an outstanding search engine rank that was achieved with very little effort. No unethical manipulative techniques, just good old fashioned on-site search engine optimization and a little bit of link building.
