When representatives of the Harris County Republican Party asked me to help modernize their WordPress blog, we knew just what they needed. We customized a great WordPress theme for them, integrated all of their social media, and created a contemporary design based on a night skyline photo of Houston.

The final blog is perfect for highlighting videos, event photos and news stories. Check the blog out here.

Matt has done a FANTASTIC job, not only creating the HCRP blog site, but also being very patient as he has coached us regarding the various blog administrative duties. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing web development work, marketing or art work for your business or political campaign! – Richard Dillon

Apache Advertising and Design was pleased to assist Kerry O’Malley on the development of the SalesXpress USA website.

Kerry is an industrial marketing guru that is working hard to bring modern internet and social media marketing to the industrial industry.

In the typical Apache fashion, we set SalesXpress up with search engine friendly XHTML/CSS/Javascript based site that is easy to navigate, highly visible and easily maintained through a simple content management system. If you in an industrial industry and are looking for ways to use the Internet to promote your business, call us at 832.971.4905.

World Class Horses - David M Riddle

Exciting things are happening at World Class Horses in Tomball Texas. A massive 32 stall mare management and foaling facility was recently raised. A fully equipped in-house lab which includes the most innovative equipment in the equestrian breeding industry has been expanded. Computer systems you’ll only find at veterinary universities are being used in their new laboratory to provide the most successful equestrian breeding results possible, and they’ve hired Apache Advertising and Design as their marketing consultant.

At the core of this operation is David M. Riddle. Mr Riddle specializes in stallion reproduction with a focus in cooling and freezing semen for all horse breeds.  A true horseman; David has in his past earned the title of High Point in the Nation overall in 1996, and has achieved 14 World Championships.

The image shown above is a sneak peek at the new World Class Horses website, which is the first project undertaken by Apache. Magazine advertising, e-mail marketing and print collateral are all on the drawing board at this very moment. Look for these items to appear in our portfolio early this year.

The Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District was created in 2001 by the 77th Texas Legislature with a directive to conserve, protect and enhance the groundwater resources of Montgomery County, Texas.

Lone Star assigned Apache Advertising & Design the task of updating the design of their current website and to improve the navigation and useability.

We are waiting for the last few content items and this project will be complete. We’ll be launching Lonestargcd.org in just a few days.

The Lower Trinity Groundwater Conservation District (LTGCD) registers applications to drill water wells, issues drilling and Operating Permits, collects groundwater information and investigates water quality in the area around Polk County Texas.

The LTGCD mission is to provide for the education, conservation, preservation, protection, recharging, and prevention of groundwater waste consistent with the objectives of Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution.

LTGCD contacted Apache Advertising & Design because they needed a way to organize and distribute a large amount of PDF documents to people registering to drill water wells. The LTGCD.org website was created to handle this very problem.

Lower Trinity Groundwater Conservation District Web Site

The new web site for the Lower Trinity Groundwater Conservation District (LTGCD.org) is just about ready to launch. Bill Jacobs, the District’s General Manager, handed me the final documents to be added to the site this morning.

Here is a sneak peek at the photoshop mock up I designed for this web site.

I’ll be posting screen captures and links from the official site upon it’s debut next week.

The opportunity arose to design a promotional poster for the scholarship golf tournament being run by the Sam Houston State University Department of Theatre and Dance.

All parties involved were very pleased with the end result, and it looks like more projects are already coming our way. This looks like the beginning of a great relationship with Sam Houston State University and a few other Huntsville area businesses.

On Sunday, July 22, I submitted this poster design iStockPhoto.com to enter their “Designer Spotlight” contest. I was thrilled to see that it was selected and is now on display on their web site. The “Designer Spotlight” features the best designers that use their stock photography products.

Holly Kutalek is a joy to work with. She is the owner of Rafter K Ranch, a fantastic barrel horse operation in Montgomery Texas. She and I worked closely to create a web presence that was exactly the way she wanted.

She has a few new ideas on the drawing board, so I’ll be posting her new landing pages and ecommerce projects here before long.

UPDATE 10.24.08 – The Rafter K Ranch web site design is now featured on iStockPhoto.com’s Designer Spotlight.

I was honored to be chosen to design the new website for the Greater Houston Quarter Horse Association.

GHQHA needed a very versatile website that allowed them to add photos, articles, entry forms, and a calendar of events. It is powered by a very easy to use content management system that allowed them to add any content they wished. It was so easy in fact, that they were adding content before I ever had a chance to explain how it worked! They jumped right in and have done a great job with this website.
